Books Review

0. First of all, breathing is an important part of the physical and mental exercise.
Type 1. Short breath using your lungs.
Type 2. Slow and deep breath using abdomen.
Close your eyes. Using Type 2, try to breathe in fresh air --- imagining that air flows from the nose through the frontal part of the body into your abdominal part when you inhale. When you exhale, just imagine that air flows through your backbone to the head, and comes to your nose to go out ---so that ethereal entity carried with air may circulate through your body. (This relaxation practice will induce Alpha-state in your brain.)
As you know, all the internal functions of our body are not directly controllable through our will, such as heart beat, brain waves, internal organs that automatically work for digesting and assimilating nutrition, etc. Only through breathing, or creating concrete images in our mind, can we have the possibility to control those autonomic system. Some healing technique, too, relies on such control of our mind. --- Our purpose is to develop our mind for enhancing our abilities by acquiring techniques.
